Long Story Short

Ripped from their homeland, millions of Africans were brought to the New World to labor under horrendous conditions. For generations African-Americans were seen as property without human rights or dignity. After the American Revolution a few brave souls began to join forces with the slaves in their quest for freedom. The struggle was long and bitter and would take a civil war before the evil institution was brought down. This is the story of naked greed and immense bravery, misery and triumph. The face of humanity at its best and worst.
