Colonial America

Long Story Short

Starting In the 1600s wave after wave of wide-eyed immigrants arrived on the shores of America seeking a better life. Some came seeking gold, some escaping religious persecution, others were avoiding doing jail time. Whatever their reason, these colonists found that the American wilderness could be a challenging and deadly way to start a new life. Starvation, disease, hostile relations with the natives, and man-eating rabbits, would claim more than a few victims. But they kept on coming, by the tens of thousands,

transforming the continent into a new Europe.
